RECIPE PREPARATION Chocolate and cherry biscuit balls:

I like to feel the crispy biscuits next to the chocolate, so I didn't sprinkle them with milk or other liquids. then I poured them into a large non-metallic bowl. There I dripped them with melted butter in which I added the essences. Then I added the melted white chocolate. I chopped the other chocolate a little and I added it and on it. I mixed with well-washed hands. Then standing like this for a while, the mixture was bound and I was able to form balls in which I put a cherry jam in the middle. , coconut, chocolate granules or hearts of pink and purple sugar. I also stuck the chosen clowns from the chefs' pantry and they are very cute and brightly colored. :)

  • 500 g of simple biscuits
  • 100 g butter
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 35 g of cocoa
  • 100 g roasted and chopped walnuts

  • 500 ml of milk
  • frozen cherries or sour cherries


  1. Prepare the syrup, putting in a bowl the sugar, diced butter and milk over medium heat. After they have melted, remove from the heat and allow to cool.
  2. Crush the biscuits with a blender, mix with cocoa, rum essence and previously prepared syrup.
  3. Knead until a homogeneous composition is obtained. Take a little of the composition, put a cherry in the middle, form balls and pass through the coconut.
  4. They can be served immediately, and if they remain, they are kept in the refrigerator.

Today I want to share with you a recipe very dear to me - cherry candies. I prepared this recipe for the first time at school at the so-called workshop time (in those school workshop hours I learned what teamwork means, I became more creative and inventive).

This is the original recipe as I have it from school. We start with the cherries, remove the seeds as gently as possible so that they remain whole and let them drain. First sift the powdered sugar and cocoa powder.

Rub the butter with the powdered sugar until it becomes frothy. Add ground walnuts, crushed biscuits and cocoa powder (in my case carob powder). Milk is added to moisten the composition.

Make round shapes, put the cherry in the middle and shape the size of a candy. Then roll in caster sugar and allow to cool and set.
They are served with great appetite!
* I did not use cocoa - I put 2 tablespoons of carob powder and reduced the amount of powdered sugar by half. I also didn't put any rum essence.

** If you don't have sour cherries or you want to make candies for children, opt for those from compote. I also prepared the recipe and it was good because there was nothing left of the candies.

How to make cherry biscuit balls

Put in a bowl butter melted at room temperature together with caster sugar ), mixing until a frothy cream is obtained (without liquid).

Simple biscuits will be scraped (possibly sifted, to use only fine scraping), add in cream of butter, together with lemon juice, mixing with a spatula until you get a homogeneous-fine composition, good to work (possibly if it is too soft you can add grated biscuits).

The vessel with the obtained composition will be cooled for about 30-40 minutes, to strengthen and easily form the balls.

From the cooled composition will form balls the size of a tennis ball, in the middle of which will be placed one Cherry, then rolled through coconut, placed on a plate and refrigerated, served only as long as necessary at the table (so as not to soften), depending on the number of people.

  • 250 g cereal flakes
  • 100 g dark chocolate (over 50% cocoa)
  • 120 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg tied
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons wholemeal flour
  • 70 g butter
  • vanilla (extract, essence or vanilla sugar)

It is prepared very simply and extremely quickly. The first time we melt the chocolate together with the butter in the microwave or in a steam bath.

In a bowl put all the listed ingredients, plus melted chocolate and butter. Mix well for homogenization and let it rest for 10 minutes. Do not be afraid if you think that the composition does not bind, after 10 minutes it will have a different consistency.

With wet hands, form slightly flattened biscuits and place them on a tray covered with baking paper.

Bake the biscuits for 20 minutes at 180 ° C. They must still be soft to the touch when you take them out of the oven, they will harden after cooling. If you bake them excessively, they will be very hard after they cool.

The gelatin is soaked in warm (not hot) milk. Mix the sugar and cream cheese, add the whipped cream with a little sugar (cream), the milk with the dissolved gelatin, vanilla and mix everything. We add red fruits. Pour the cream in circular shapes, over the counter and send the nutcakes in the fridge to set. We can dress in white chocolate nutcakes.
